Poultry
Raised in a safe, secure environment from day one
From birth to slaughter, our birds are raised in a conducive environment with a focus on safety and security, so that the meat and eggs we sell are healthy. Our breeding facility follows strict quality control procedures.

Parents & hatchery
Our parent operations raise day-old parents to produce ready-to-hatch eggs for our hatchery division. After 24 weeks, the parents go through a two-stage selection and inspection process so that only the best birds are chosen.
The hatchery uses those eggs to produce day-old broiler chicks for the market or for our own use. Our eggs are Ministry of Agriculture certified and the chicks are vaccinated at birth.

Broilers
We raise day-old broilers for sale to the market or for transfer to our in-house processing, which produces chilled and frozen chicken.

Layers
Our Sipili farm specialises in large-scale commercial layering of chickens for eggs and meat. It has four poultry houses with a capacity of 15,000 chickens each.

Free-range (Kienyeji)
Free-range chickens command a premium, and they cost more to produce. Feed, chicks and the extra space for the birds make farming them capital-intensive.
Our chicks can move outside and experience natural sunlight. They are not pushed to grow, but keep a natural growth cycle.
